Geomax's high end line of total stations are the same thing as the TS15 just a different color and significantly cheaper. I don't see much reason to spend the money on Leica gear or software. We used/tried to use Leica data collection and processing for a few years total but it was costing us way more hassle and money than it was worth. Observations are often missing with only a coordinate value for the point left in the raw data. Other tools may be useful in solving similar but slightly different problems. Use Extract Data to select and download data for a specified area of interest. Captivate can export rw5 and fbk files but again it's buggy. To extract the entire dataset to a shapefile or CSV file, you can use the Extract Data tool or export the data following the instructions in Use layers. In addition to the exports mentioned above, C10 datasets can be exported and viewed in Leica TruView which is a web-based program often used for the sharing and visualization of C10 data.
